How SkillsFound works

SkillsFound is built on a simple belief: what you can do matters more than what you have been called. Here is how the platform works for both candidates and employers.

For candidates

Create a free account

Sign up with your email. No subscription, no payment details, no catch. Candidate accounts are free forever.

Build your skill profile

Choose from our library of 250+ skills across 18 categories — from leadership and finance to technology, hospitality, and certified qualifications. Select a minimum of 3 from the library, then add custom skills on top. There is no limit. Add your location, work preferences (remote, hybrid, on-site), employment type preferences, years of experience, and any qualifications or certifications you hold.

Upload your CV

Your CV is optional but recommended. Critically, it stays completely private until you are matched with an employer. Candidates who have been filtered out by job title filters before they were ever seen will not have that happen here. Your CV confirms your background after interest is established, not before.

Apply to roles

Browse available roles and apply to ones that match your skills. When you apply, you will see your skill match percentage for each role. If the employer has included custom questions, you can answer them as part of your application. Salary is always shown upfront on every role — no surprises.

Get matched

When an employer is interested in you, they click match. At that point your contact details and CV are revealed to them. You will be notified that you have been matched and can expect to hear from the employer directly.

For employers

Create an employer account

Sign up and set up your employer profile with your company name. Your first job post is completely free — no card details needed to get started.

Post a role by skills

Write a proper job description covering the role, key duties, and any relevant details. Set your company location, candidate eligibility (worldwide, EU only, etc.), work arrangement, employment type, and a mandatory salary or salary range. Select at least 3 required skills from our library and add custom ones if needed. Optionally add up to 3 questions for candidates to answer when applying.

See matched candidates

Pay-per-post employers see the top 3 skill-matched candidates from the existing pool immediately, plus anyone who applies directly to their role. Subscription employers have full access to search and filter the entire candidate pool at any time.

Review applications

Each applicant shows their skill match percentage, location, work preferences, bio, and answers to your questions. Matched skills are highlighted clearly. You can see at a glance who is the strongest fit.

Match to reveal contact and CV

When you want to move forward with a candidate, click match. You will be asked to confirm that you intend to contact them for interview — please only match candidates you genuinely intend to reach out to. Once matched, their email address and CV are revealed and you can contact them directly to continue your own hiring process.

Privacy and trust

Contact privacy

Candidate email addresses are never visible until a match is confirmed by the employer.

CV privacy

CVs are stored securely and only revealed alongside contact details at the point of match.

No payment data stored

All payments are handled by Stripe. SkillsFound never sees or stores your card details.

Fraud reporting

Both candidates and employers can report suspicious profiles or job posts directly from the platform.

GDPR compliant

SkillsFound is operated by Hire Away d.o.o. and complies with EU GDPR data protection regulations.

Right to erasure

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].
